FREE SHERMAN AUSTIN!
Sherman Austin, webmaster of RaisetheFist.com, was sentenced today, August 4, 2003, to one year in federal prison, with three years of probation. Judge Wilson shocked the courtroom when he went against the recommendation of not only the prosecution, but the FBI and the Justice Department, who had asked that Austin be sentenced to 4 months in prison, and 4 months in a half-way house, with 3 years of probation.

Witnesses told us that the special forces knew that the Iraqi military had fled a day before they swooped on the hospital.
It was like a Hollywood film. They cried 'go, go, go', with guns and blanks without bullets, blanks and the sound of explosions. They made a show for the American attack on the hospital - action movies like Sylvester Stallone or Jackie Chan."
There was one more twist. Two days before the snatch squad arrived, Harith had arranged to deliver Jessica to the Americans in an ambulance.
But as the ambulance, with Private Lynch inside, approached a checkpoint American troops opened fire, forcing it to flee back to the hospital. The Americans had almost killed their prize catch.

POOR Kofi Annan. Just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, Congo proved the UN's secretary-general wrong. On May 6th, Uganda withdrew its occupying troops from Bunia, a town in Ituri, in north-eastern Congo. Chaos followed. The town's 700 UN peacekeepers, largely Uruguayans, found themselves cowering under a shower of mortars and grenades, while tribal militias looted, murdered and maimed their victims in the rutted roads outside the UN's barracks. more

No funding if students cursed Israel
The so-called "ideological diversity" legislation suggests cutting federal funding for American colleges and universities if those institutions are found to be permitting professors, students and student organizations to openly criticize Israel, which is considerd to be an act of "anti-Semitism." more
remarks by Fred Lapides:
I am a bit amused by your post on Rick's proposed bill to cut funding for
anti_Israeli remarks on American campuses. First, no court in the land would
allow that sort of intrusion upon free speech. None. Second, Rick is in deep
shit these days for his recent anti-gay etc remarks. Third: to post a
proposed piece of silly legislation as though it were the law of the land is
a clearly silly attempt to assert yet another Left of Center position that
makes such spokespeople look sillier than usual. Fourth: if you knew
anything about American campuses these days you would note that there are
any number of Jews who badmouth Israel. Fifth: The ACLU and the AAUP would
jump down the throates of such proposed legislation and the Supreme Court
would toss it out. There is insufficient votes in Congress for any silly
bill like that to pass.

In October 2002, Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 (the "October Resolution"), Pub L. No. 107-243, 116 Stat. 1498. Plaintiffs argue that the October Resolution is constitutionally inadequate to authorize the military offensive that defendants are now planning against Iraq. See U.S. Const. art. I, § 8, cl. 11 (granting Congress the power "[t]o declare war"). They base this argument on two theories. They argue that Congress and the President are in collision -- that the President is about to act in violation of the October Resolution. They also argue that Congress and the President are in collusion -- that Congress has handed over to the President its exclusive power to declare war. More.
THE DEAD FISH TALKS!!

Word is made flesh as God reveals himself... as a fish
An obscure Jewish sect in New York has been gripped in awe by what it believes to be a mystical visitation by a 20lb carp that was heard shouting in Hebrew, in what many Jews worldwide are hailing as a modern miracle.
Many of the 7,000-member Skver sect of Hasidim in New Square, 30 miles north of Manhattan, believe God has revealed himself in fish form.
According to two fish-cutters at the New Square Fish Market, the carp was about to be slaughtered and made into gefilte fish for Sabbath dinner when it suddenly began shouting apocalyptic warnings in Hebrew.
Many believe the carp was channelling the troubled soul of a revered community elder who recently died; others say it was God. The only witnesses to the mystical show were Zalmen Rosen, a 57-year-old Hasid with 11 children, and his co-worker, Luis Nivelo. They say that on 28 January at 4pm they were about to club the carp on the head when it began yelling. (The Observer)

Only Ingrid and Clara remained prisoners of the FARC, the other ones have been released to communicate the news of kidnapping.
With this move, FARC would like to use Ingrid as exchanging goods to obtain the liberation of 200 guerrillas of FARC held in the Columbian prisons.
The government of Uribe has already declared it doesn’t want to come to a compromise with FARC. The situation is serious. more

Turkey is back to its perennial mischief - this time in the guise of would-be peacekeeper in Kurdistan in a post Saddam Iraq. Sadly, the US is acquiescing.
In meetings held in the past week between US envoy Zalmay Khalilzad, Turkey, and Iraqi Kurdish leaders, the Turks first threatened and frothed, as usual, then demanded that Turkish troops be accorded the role of peacekeepers in Iraq, particularly in the oil-rich regions of Kirkuk and Mosul.

Thirteen Palestinians killed by army fire
Gaza City — Israeli troops targeting small weapons factories moved deep into Gaza City early Sunday, killing 12 local gunmen in exchanges of fire and wounding 67 Palestinians in a large-scale assault just two days before Israel's general election.
Also Sunday, a seven-year-old Palestinian boy was killed and his six-year-old brother were wounded by army fire while playing near a military outpost on the outskirts of the Rafah refugee camp in southern Gaza, relatives said. The army had no immediate comment.
Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz revealed he is not ruling out a re-occupation of the entire Gaza Strip, home to more than one million Palestinians.

but there are more problems on the islands
"But while many have waited an anxious week since the cyclone levelled 5sq km Tikopia Island, where it is believed between 1300 and 2000 people live, the boat remained tied up at Honiara's wharf.
That may appear tragically inept, but such impotence is common in the Solomons.
Duncan cites the condition of the holding cells in central police station.
They are appalling. You smell them before you see them and when you walk down the dark and narrow brick corridor you are confronted with human excrement and walls turned brown with age, neglect and accumulated filth. The air is thick and fetid and leaves you choking.
The station has no plumbing so the police have to pay the Fire Service to sluice the cells out. But the Fire Service has no fuel to get there so the police have to not only find money for that, but also find the petrol.
That isn't easy either. It can be in short supply.
With an arbitrary power supply - because the Government can't pay the electricity department - some businesses and Government departments have generators, but the shortage of fuel can render them ineffective also.
This is a country where simple problems can be very complex.
This has been the way in the Solomons since the ethnic tensions between Malaitan people living on Guadalcanal Island fought back against harassment from the local "Guale".

Fact or Fraud?
The standard textbook wisdom that we all learned from grade school on up is that the Americas were discovered by the Europeans either in 1492 by Columbus, or perhaps even a few hundred years earlier by the Vikings. There seems to be an aversion among the establishment historians to even consider the idea that ancient Mediterranean peoples might have traveled to the Americas in the centuries before our era. Except for certain “fringe” scholarship, particularly promoted by Mormon historians, the standard view is considered indisputable. The very idea that “primitive” peoples from Cyprus, Phoenicia, Greece, or Iberia had the sailing sophistication to cross the Atlantic is thought to be improbable if not absurd.

The Sanskrit Account of the War of the Gods and Asuras
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This little-known account, found in the Karna Parva of the Mahabharata, provides details of the triumph of the gods and the end of the war which are not contained in the more familiar Greek sources. According to the latter, the war between the Titans and Olympians raged on for ten years in a sort of stalemate, until Zeus "no longer restrained his soul, but straightway his mind was filled with fury and he showed forth all his might." His bolts "flew near at hand" with thunder and with lightning, while in his hands he was "rolling a holy flame." The life-giving earth "crashed as it burned, and the infinite wood cried aloud with fire." The oceans boiled and volcanoes (Cottus, Briareus and Gyes) hurled rocks by the hundreds. Once defeated, the warlike Titans are bound and imprisoned forever in Tartarus. The hint is given that "divine weapons" (given to Zeus by Kyklopes and Hekatoncheires) turned the tide against the Titans.

They weren't the only ones of course; the English, Spanish, Portuguese and French also traded extensively in slaves. But by the beginning of the 1800's most of these countries were well on the way to abolishing slavery. However, it took until 1863 before the Dutch finally put an end to it. Pioneer of Dutch anarchism & the International Anti-Militarist Association. Born in Amsterdam, a preacher in Harlingen in 1870. Leader of a socialist union & first socialist senator in The Netherlands. Became an anarchist in 1897. more or more

The Dodo had no experience of any types of predators before the arrival of settlers in the island. They were passive creatures even when approached by human visitors for the first time. So it was with lack of fears and child-like innocence that those birds greeted the first settlers, the Dutch, in 1598.
The story of the Dodo is indeed a tragic one. Firstly, human visitors, mainly the Dutch and the Portuguese, used to kill them for food. Those that survived became prey to animals such as pigs, rats and monkeys that had been introduced into the island by sailors. By the year 1681 the last Dodo had died. The manner in which the Dodo were obliterated from the surface of the earth has left a lasting impact on the natural history of our global eco-system: in fact a lesson in extinction to humanity. So much so, that the English expression 'As dead as the Dodo' had to be coined to emphasize the concept of total annihilation or non-existence (by death) of something, or someone, or some idea, either in the literal or abstract sense.

Remark by reader:
... Since I am firmly in support of Israel, I can but say, sadly, that the pics you show would better be understood if there was some info to accompnay: ie, the shot of troops standing over Arabs was in fact taken when the Isreali army went into Arab territory to clean up the terror group that had the day before bombed and killed so many Israelis. One can argue about the Middle East endlessly, I respect your right to be pro-Palestinians--hey: they could sign a peace deal and get a state, even the UN says secure and safe border--but the Left is always so one-sided and shoots from the hip, ignoring history and reality.
I consider myself far to the left but of late have become disillusnioned with their cant and inability to sort through things--yes: invading Iraq bad. Yes too Saddam is very bad and if you read the right sources you would know that there is much more support for American invanding among the "protesting" Arab neighbors than we read about daily....Jordan, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi have already made room for storage and/or troops to jump off into Iraq.
The Left too often argues that America is imperialistic etc but then we saved an invaded S. Korea (now a democracy) and Kuwait (still a shitty country), and did much to bring democracy to Germany and Japan.
...

As you will note, nearly every such nativity display has folks that look just like that terrorist we're after, that evil un-Christian bin Laden fellow. And if we see somebody who looks like a terrorist, we're taking the fucker down.

IntelCenter - Our focus as a company is on studying terrorist groups and other threat actors and disseminating that information in a timely manner to those who can act on it. We look at capabilities and intentions, warnings and indicators, operational characteristics and a wide variety of other points in order to better understand how to interdict terrorist operations and reduce the likelihood of future attacks.

The APA believes that the Constitution gave us the right of self defense, defense of the family, and defense against tyranny, safeguard life, liberty, property, as well as help preserve the independence of our nation.
Thus, we support the right to bear arms and to defend that right against anyone or nation which tries to suppress this right.
The APA favors a moratorium on immigration to the United States. We oppose any extension of amnesty to illegal aliens. We support strong use of the National Guard, Coast Guard and trained civilian Patriots to defend our borders. more?

Most people know that McVeigh did not act alone. They know the whole story's not been told. There's been some scientific surveys that show that at about 65%. That was several years ago. I'm sure that it's higher now, after all the stuff that's happened in the last year or so. But, also, there's been a number of polls that radio stations have done, unscientific though they are, that asked even more extensive questions, and they came out real lopsided, people saying McVeigh didn't do it alone. more at disinfo.com
PENSACOLA, Florida (CNN) -- A Florida jury Friday found two teenage brothers guilty of killing their father and then setting fire to their house.
The King brothers may now be sentenced to up to life in prison with the possibility of parole on the murder charge. The maximum penalty for arson is 30 years in prison. If they had been convicted of first-degree murder, they would have faced a mandatory penalty of life in prison without parole.

Take god it's not my father....
Everybody must be concerned when we have denied this fundamental right to over half the fathers and husbands in America, where the father or husband has done nothing to bring this upon himself. The concept that "divorce" and "women's choice" should override men's fundamental right to be a part of society, and have property rights and social rights that are immutably tied to marriage, must end.

Battle News
Forgotten war... in their own words:
We, the Karens of Burma, have been cornered into fighting against the ruling Burmese Governments for the past fifty years.
Holding the reins of all organs of the state, and in full control of the press radio, and television, the successive ruling Burmese Governments from U Nu’s AFPFL (Anti-Fascist People’s Freedom League) to the present Military Junta headed by General Than Shwe and his State Peace and Development Council ( SPDC ), have always painted us as black as they can. They have branded us insurgents, wa mongers, a handful of border smugglers, black-marketeers and stooges of both the communists and the imperialists.
Since 1988, the SLORC has supplemented declining sources of investment with uncompensated "people's contributions." In July 1998, the International Labour Organization examined forced labor in Myanmar (Burma) and concluded that forced labor is "widespread and systematic". more

Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is a Marxist Group whose aim is to overthrow the government and ruling class of Columbia. Their claims to moral legitimacy are based largely on their opposition to the right-wing paramilitaries that historically have been tolerated and at times utilized by the Colombian government. FARC considers the government to be pawns of United States imperialism. For more detailed information on FARC's ideological aims, go to their official Website.

Mega-Projects are massive infrastructure projects-pipelines, power lines, roads, dams, and waterways-designed to open the Amazon rainforest frontier to large-scale industrial development. Mega-projects enable industries to extract and export raw materials (oil, gas, timber, gold, etc.) to regional and global markets. Mega-projects and associated development threaten millions of acres of pristine wilderness, national parks, and indigenous peoples' territories.

Further Proof that God Hates America!!!
As if it weren't bad enough that the Roman Catholic Church has won the "Franchise of the Year" award from NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association), the American Bishops want to argue with the mumbling old fool with the funny hat, and REFUSE TO ACCEPT A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON PEDOPHILIA!!! America has "progressed" to such a point of absolute degeneracy, that it is willing to let the moral leaders of their society HAVE SEX WITH LITTLE BOYS!!!! Why is this so? Because God has given this country over to vile affections, providing more proof that GOD HATES AMERICA!!!

Many reports claim that the Illuminati are the main group trying to form a one world government , however other reports also suggest that a Jesuit-Vatican connection has been the major force!
These organisations are planning the merging of many faiths into the apostate one world church that will be serving Satan.
The New Age Movement is also part of the plan. They are controlled by Satan and are linked to the above organisations.
They have introduced Satanic symbols and systems all around us , and their plan is to cause the world to worship Satan!

Governments Accountable to Society & Citizens = Democracy
This project was inspired by the events at the the Summit of the Americas held this past April from April 17th- 21st.
Between 40,000 and 80,000 people from all over the Americas gathered in Quebec City to protest the FTAA (the Free Trade Area of the Americas), to oppose the dominance of transnational corporations over local communities,
and to demand that our governments be accountable to the people they’re supposed to represent.
